MISSOURI TRAMPOLINE AND TUMBLING STATE MEETING

6. Procedures for awarding competition and awards to be given – Proposal: Eligibility meet awards are the choice of the host team. Flight awards will be given after each flight. Top three Overall awards will be presented for more than one flight. State Championships awards will be 1-3 medals (supplied by A1 Awards), ribbons 4-10 and team awards Motion: Ted Johnson Second: Eric Miller Result: Passed
7. Meet admission – Proposal: $5.00 per person 5 years and up, 4 and under free Motion: Ted Johnson Second: Mary Swafford Result: Passed
8. Judges Penalties – Proposal: Each team is required to provide a judge for each discipline they are entered. The penalty is $1 per athlete per discipline that does not have a judge provided. 9. Entry Fee Surcharge to State Fund – Proposal: $7.00 total fee. The seven dollars will break down to six dollars towards judges’ pay and one dollar towards the athlete fund. Motion: Angela Jones Second: Carl Neidholdt Result: Passed
10. Meet director pays USAG directly for the Scholarship fund ($1.00 per athlete)
11. Meet Entry Fees – Proposal: Entry fees for eligibility meets will be $30.00 for the 1st event and $5.00 for each additional event (max -- $45.00 for four events). Entry fees for state Championships will be $50.00 dollars for the 1st event and $5.00 for each additional event (max $65.00 for four events). Motion: Karen Talley Second: Ted Johnson Result: Passed
12. Meet Information – Proposal: Meet information must be sent out 45 days before the date of the meet. Facility dimensions, exact equipment, and any obstacles must be listed. Training session for levels 10 and up must be provided the night before and each team must provide their own spotters. Score sheets must be copied and mailed to the State Director within 48 hours of competition. Motion: Carl Neidholdt Second: Ted Johnson Result: Passed
13. Meet Schedule Preparation Options A. Connie Fortner will prepare the meet schedule at a cost of $.75 per athlete + entry fees for her child. If you do not have Connie prepare your schedule, you must include this in your meet information and include who is preparing the schedule. B. Connie Fortner will prepare your schedule, fax it out to all clubs, awards count, score sheets, master flight list for line up, and 2 day express mail all of the above to you by the Monday before your meet at $3.25 per athlete and entry fees for her child. C. George Campus will do both schedule preparation, meet information, and bring the computers for an estimation of $4.00 per athlete. Contact USAG for George’s number.
14. Meet Levels – Proposal: TR- Level 1-Elite, TU- Level 1-Elite, DMT- Level 5 –Elite, Synchro – Level 10- Elite. You may offer Level nine synchro at your meet if you include it in the meet information. Jumpstart levels may be included in the meet at the director’s discretion. The event will be cost another entry fee with the awards the same as the competition. Motion: Carl Neidholdt Second: Angela Jones Result: Passed
15. Level 4B Tumbling – Proposal: Keep Level 4B tumbling – power round off, 1 back handspring and power round off, 2 back handsprings. This level is not provided at regional or national levels. Motion: Angela Jones Second: Eric Miller Result: Passed
16. Equipment Requirements – Proposal: Equipment must meet the USAG code of points requirements. A throw in mat for each trampoline and a sting mat for both double mini trampoline and tumbling must be provided. The tumbling floor must have the sidelines marked according to the code of points. Motion: Mary Swafford Second: Eric Miller Result: Passed NEW RULE: There must be 8 inches of matting completely around trampoline for Junior and Senior to compete.
17. MO State Championship Competition – Proposal: The state board and member clubs will host the MO State Championship competition. MO State Championships will be held at MSSU in Joplin at the Leggett and Platt Center each year. The state director will act as meet director for the State Championships and will be paid $750.00, plus mileage and hotel expenses. Motion: Karen Talley Second: Ken Edwards Result: Passed
18. State Newsletter – Proposal: A quarterly newsletter with information about the state of Missouri T&T will be mailed to all clubs and potential clubs. Motion: Ted Johnson Second: Eric Miller Result: Passed
19. Budget for 2007-2008 – Proposal: Approve budget. Motion: Ted Johnson Second: Eric Miller Result: Passed
20. State representatives asked by state to travel will receive 48.5 ¢/mile or standard rate plus hotel if necessary and $35 for food/day. Representatives must turn in receipts or hotel and mileage or rental car information at own discretion. Motion: Barbara Johnson Second: Ken Edwards Result: Passed
